It is important to carefully read the booking and commercial conditions below. Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for those who make the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned in the same, including minors.
In order to guarantee the highest quality of all our services, favor the correct functioning of all our processes, improve the experience and offer a peaceful and safe holiday for all our guests, Tolasudolsa has decided to implement strategies to -hoc that may need to be modified with the entry into force of new or amended regulations (click here to learn more about the Rules & FAQs).
All guests of Tolasudolsa are required to respect the rules and normal practices that allow for good coexistence.
Different times can be agreed, such as shifts, to take advantage of breakfast and/or extra meals and during MTB excursions.
A Lot of little attention. A more personal service. And lots and lots of space, all for guests!
1. Booking
It can be booked online. This process is certainly the cheapest, the fastest and allows you to have booking confirmation in a very short time:

Alternatively, you can send an availability request. We do not recommend this method if you intend to book for the same day or the following day:

and wait for our reply. Following the request, a (non-binding) offer will be sent. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication showing the total price of the stay and after the payment of the deposit, which must be made within 3 days of our confirmation. If the payment does not take place within the required time, the reservation is to be considered void.
The reservation becomes binding for Tolasudolsa only upon receipt of a copy of the payment receipt of the deposit or of the credit card details on which to make the authorized withdrawal.
Following each confirmed booking, regardless of the channels used to make it, Tolasudolsa will undertake to send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in. The confirmation of the reservation implies the acceptance of our terms of cancellation and payment. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the data in the aforementioned confirmation and to notify us of any anomaly as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 4 days from receipt of the same. After this deadline, we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.
To make changes to the reservation it is necessary to contact the owner Valeria Bertoli, who will do everything possible to satisfy the request. However, it is not possible to guarantee the fulfillment of this request in advance. In case of moving the reservation towards a period for which the price should be higher than the amount paid, the guest is required to pay the difference, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
1.1 Pre-check-in and Personal Documents
We have implemented a procedure through which guests will also be able to pre-register on our website. In this way it will be possible to proceed with a pre check-in by sending valid identity documents (for all guests, including minors).
Upon arrival, it will be mandatory to present an identification document for each guest, even a minor.
2. Extra Services
Exclusively for those staying at Tolasudolsa, it will be possible to have dinner or lunch by prior arrangement with a minimum notice of 24 hours before check-in.
We are very careful in preparing dishes for those with intolerances, allergies, needs or specific food styles. Nevertheless, in our kitchen we use products containing allergens (e.g. peanuts, flour, nuts, dairy products, soy, eggs, etc.) and therefore we cannot guarantee a total absence of cross-contamination. Ask our staff, they will be able to recommend the most suitable solutions for you.
The choice of the agreed menu was made in order to offer a "tailor-made" experience and to avoid waste or overproduction.
You can choose between 3 types of menus, where prices are per person/meal
- Light menu, 2 courses from €17,00= includes: appetizer + first or second course, dessert, ¼ bulk wine, mineral water, coffee
- Home menu, 3 courses from €22,00= includes: appetizer, first course, second course, 1/2 of wine, mineral water, coffee
- Traditional delicious menu, 4 courses(**) from €27,00= offers typical dishes based on mushrooms, truffles or game and trout (always according to season) and includes: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, 1/2 of wine, mineral water, coffee.
(**) FOR THE DELICIOUS TRADITIONAL 4-COURSE MENU, MINIMUM 2 DAYS NOTICE IS REQUIRED.
The dishes vary according to the seasons and offer the combination with wines suitable for the dishes agreed in the menu itself. The menu is possibly agreed in time and created on the basis of the number of people expected and in relation, as far as possible, to the needs, in fact you will be asked to communicate which foods are not to your liking.
Mountain Bike Tour with Guide
With our Guide Giorgio, upon arrival, the bikers will carry out a short briefing where the level of experience, preparation and bike of the participant(s) will be analyzed and verified in order to offer a "tailor-made" excursion, both in terms of difficulty and duration.

Duration: Departure: around 9.00 am - return: around 3.00 pm, breaks excluded
Rates: for individuals or groups of up to 4 bikers: €50.00= each
per group of 5 to 8 bikers: €150.00= per day to be divided among the participants
Half Day Tour
Duration: Departure: around 9.00 am - return: around 1.00 pm, breaks excluded
Rates: for individuals or groups of up to 4 bikers: €35.00= each
for groups of 5 to 8 bikers: €85.00= per day to be divided among the participants
3. Payment and prices
Our prices are in Euros per room per day, and mainly include:
- VAT
- Breakfast (for rates that include it)
- bathroom and bed linen
- hair dryers in the bathrooms
- shower gel and shampoo
- free wifi, with access through the guest's social profiles
- Possibility of washing/drying mtbikers' technical clothing
- Recovery or transfer of mtbikers by van
- free transfer from/to Borgo Val di Taro railway station
- use of fridge, crockery and kettle in the common dining room
- everything specified in the booking confirmation.
The services used or the drinks consumed as an extra, compared to what was agreed, will be paid the evening before check-out.
General conditions, linked to the type of rate chosen by the guest:
By choosing the STANDARD RATE, we will ask for a deposit to guarantee the reservation, equal to approximately 50% of the total amount of the stay. The final confirmation of the booking will be sent following receipt of the deposit.
By choosing the NON-REFUNDABLE rate, you will benefit from a discount and we will ask for the balance of 100% of the stay at the time of booking.
For the confirmation deposit of 50% or the balance of 100% of the stay, payment is required (excluding optional services if not already included in the chosen rate) no later than 3 days from the booking confirmation date. In case of non-receipt of the deposit or the balance within the indicated terms, the reservation will be void.
At check-in or the evening before check-out, the total balance of the stay will be required and we accept payments with:
- Bancomat
- credit cards Cartasi, Visa o Mastercard
- Cash.
Payments by checks or Bonus Vacanze are not accepted.

3.1 Pre-authorization
Tolasudolsa reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the guest's arrival by requesting a pre-authorization from the relevant circuit. Through the pre-authorization, the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or a part of it, is guaranteed to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorization automatically expires 20 days after the requested date and the amount is released. In the event of a negative pre-authorisation, the guest will be notified and the reservation will be canceled. In this case Tolasudolsa will have no obligation towards the customer.
3.2 Extension of stay
The extension of the stay requires an additional reservation and is subject to availability and possible rate changes.
4. Cancellation Policy
Any booking cancellation must be communicated in writing.
As required by the civil code in art. 1385, the deposit or the balance will not be refunded. However, Tolasudolsa provides two methods that meet the guests who cancel, excluding reservations in the month of August, specifically:
For cancellations with minimum notice of 48 hours before check-in, the deposit or the balance can be used later (within a maximum of 12 calendar months) and a voucher will then be issued;
For cancellations communicated at least 15 days in advance of check-in, Tolasudolsa may decide to return a portion or the entire amount of the amount paid.
No refund is due to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and is therefore required to pay the entire booked stay.
4.1 NoShow
In case of no-show, the deposit or the balance will be retained, or the full cost of the reservation will be charged to the credit card given as guarantee.
5. Causes of force majeure
Tolasudolsa declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental failures of the equipment or other causes of force majeure (including the closure of national borders or areas that include our territories, decided by the competent bodies).
6. Damages
We decline all responsibility for direct or indirect damage caused by other guests, atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases, accidents and thefts.
7. Tourist tax
The tourist tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid on the day of arrival, except for the exemptions and reductions provided for by the municipal regulation.
8. Overbooking
In the event of overbooking, caused as a result of a clear error on the part of our staff (no OTA), we undertake to promptly notify the customer and possibly to:
agree on a different date of stay, if of interest to the guest
an accommodation in the area (maximum 15 km away), similar or superior to the one for which the reservation was made;
any transport to the new accommodation.
an information call to the new destination.
9. Claims
Any critical issues must be promptly reported to the owner in order to allow timely intervention.
If immediate intervention, in relation to the circumstances, is not possible, the owner will take care to verify, via email, the report received within the term of 30 days communicating the relative outcome.
Any reimbursement, proportionate to the damage that will be ascertained, can be disbursed in the form of a voucher to be used for future bookings.
10. Other terms and conditions
For all terms and conditions not expressly listed in this policy, such as, by way of example, check-in and check-out times, cleaning times, special treatments, etc., what is stated in the booking confirmation or what is indicated in the Regulations, which represent the only documents essential for the use of all the services booked.
